Judge for The Asian Apprenticeship Awards 2018

I have 28 years experience working within the work based learning environment, as an educational specialist, managing apprenticeships and standalone programmes across a vary of subject sector areas, working with multi awarding bodies.
I am the Quality Mentor for the Army’s Apprenticeship Team working directly to Col Suzanne Holmes Education and Career Development Branch on their single national Skills Funding Agency £25m apprenticeship contract for the past 10 years.

My role as Quality Mentor is to support the military Designated Officers within each corps with the management and quality of the training provider that has been contracted to deliver apprenticeship on behalf of the Army. I mentor the following apprenticeship within the Army provision:

 Pearson TQ is delivering to the Royal Logistic Corp who has 2000 apprentices on programme
 Babcock’s is delivering to the Personnel Corp who have 300 apprentices on programme
 College Partnership is delivering to the Infantry whom have 5500 apprentices on programme
 The Army Catering Trust is delivering Food Service Wing who has 250 apprentices on programme

I have been a Trustee and Duty Chairperson for the CVQO organisation since March 2007, who delivers a vocational education programme to Army, Air, Sea Cadets and youth uniform organisations, across the country, working within private and state schools, as well as providing a service to the local community. This gives me an opportunity to work with the cabinet office in devising and contributing to the skills agenda.

I have been working as an additional Ofsted inspection over the last 8 years. I am a qualified business advisor and have a wide client base, working with large employers, colleges and training providers, offering services to review their
business plans and processes to evaluate the effectiveness in achieving quality of delivery and growth.
